LogiMap - We have launched LogiMap our new logistics modelling toolset. LogiMap uses leading edge Microsoft technologies to model networks of warehouse locations, transport links and inventory held and moved across those networks. LogiMap allows the trialling and evaluation of multiple network scenarios and generates full logistics costs of each scenario considered for comparison. Advertising Campaign – Catalyst has continued to grow organically without the need for external funding over the last twelve years. We have continued our successful advertising campaign promoting the services of Catalyst in the industry journal, Logistics & Transport Focus published by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). This year we have also advertised in the European Supply Chain Journal and the Materials Handling Yearbook to coincide with the launch of LogiMap.

Production logistics - we are pleased to be able to offer new services in production / lean manufacturing logistics via Jeff Woodhams and his team. Jeff Woodhams is a specialist in supply chain scheduling and optimisation, particularly in a production environment. You will see Jeff profiled in our Team section and we are delighted to have Jeff working with us on a number of key projects.

Logistics methodology and tool developments – we have significantly developed NAML, our Network Analysis Methodology for Logistics and its supporting toolset. This now allows us to carry out cost-benefit and optimisation what-if analysis on changes to existing logistics networks.

IT Cost Reduction for logistics-intensive organisations - this is a new service that we are pleased to launch in conjunction with Ian Flexer, a highly experienced IT Director with an excellent track record in large, logistics-intensive companies. Ian has been a very good client for us in the past and we are delighted to be offering Ian's IT Cost Reduction services which is already generating significant interest. |
